Somewhere in Neverland

Poking fun at the lackluster life of adults with catchy lyrics, All Time Low employs fantasy-like allusions, first person narrative point of view, and abundant metaphors to portray the idea of not wanting to transition into dull, predictable adulthood, but instead make the most of life and try "to feel forever young."

Allusion: "We sing along to Forever Young."
"Oh, somewhere in Neverland"

Point of view: "I promise if you're with me, say the word and we'll find a way"

Metaphor: "Wendy run away with me"
"I can be your lost boy, your last chance"
"Your life is a map with no compass"
